The Flash Cards are not required for our Self-Taught Reading Program purchased on the DVDs. The Flash Cards do match the pictures on the DVDs. There are more pictures and additional categories on the flash cards. The reading program on the DVDs has charts and information that could not be put on the Flash Cards.
